On February 13, 2009 "The Dreaming", directed by Anthony Green, won the Shoot! Emerging Director of the Year award for Best Short Film.

All six films were screened together for the very first time at an event taking place in Berlin. On the night, a panel of film professionals from across the world and host, Arta Doborshi, debated and selected "The Dreaming" as the winner.

"Bitter", written by George Kay and directed by Joel Wilson and Jamie Campbell won the award for Best Screenplay.

As part of Shoot! - a short film competition that paired up emerging directors with award-winning film makers - six films were created inspired by the key words: Play, Create, Share, Connect, Discover and Challenge, each of which reflect the essence of PlayStation.
